The immediate plans of the HD-group are to carry out a number of acquisitions in specialized and related fields, expand its coverage regions, and expand its product portfolio

 

Khlebodar Group of Companies, which includes grain processing enterprises; factories for the production of bakery and flour confectionery; factory for the production of jams, preserves; a procurement and logistics organization, is being transformed into an HD-group of companies, the press service of the Group reports.

The HD-group positions itself as an agrifood platform, acting as a service center with a set of outsourcing functions in the B2B market - from the production of goods (within the existing production areas) to the provision of procurement and logistics services.

“We started the transformation process back in 2017. It was aimed at changing management approaches and moving from the bread production segment to the agrifood segment with a focus on B2B clients, ”commented Boris Shestopalov, co-owner of the HD-group.

According to him, the changes occurred in six main areas: clustering of business areas with the development of key performance indicators; transition from a hierarchical to a matrix management system with the creation of a support hub that supports all business areas; creation of an operational hub (back office), creation of an office for the evaluation of projects; development of an early response system and the use of operational internal communication.

“The HD-group plans to make a number of acquisitions in core and related fields, expand its coverage regions, and expand its product portfolio. We have to make a significant leap in increasing the recognition of both the HD-group and our brands. The Group’s social responsibility remains unchanged with a focus on long-term impact investing projects, which, in our opinion, are the basis of the national economic and social heritage.We also plan to direct our efforts to the digitalization of business processes and the creation of additional services for our customers and partners to an even greater extent. First of all, it is a food tech accelerator, which should operate within an open platform, both for the Group’s enterprises and for the HD-group partners, ”summed up Boris Shestopalov.
